Services

I believe that each person’s mental health journey is unique and requires a personalized approach. By collaborating with my patients, I aim to develop comprehensive treatment plans that address not only the symptoms but also the underlying factors influencing their well-being. Together, we will explore a range of modalities that focus on healing the mind, body, and spirit.

Conditions I Treat include

  • Depression: Support for individuals experiencing persistent feelings of sadness, hopelessness, and lack of motivation.

  • Anxiety Disorders: Help for those grappling with excessive worry, panic attacks, and social anxiety.

  • Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD): Treatment for individuals dealing with the effects of traumatic experiences.

  • Burnout: Support for busy professionals and parents facing chronic stress and exhaustion.

  • Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD): Assistance for adults struggling with focus, organization, and time management.

  • Mood Disorders: Comprehensive care for individuals experiencing mood swings or irregular emotional patterns.

Treatment Modalities

Medication Management and Nutraceuticals/supplements

Integrative psychiatry doesn’t mean anti-medication — I prescribe evidence-based medications to alleviate symptoms and improve the quality of life, while closely monitoring efficacy and side effects. I also will incorporate appropriate vitamins, minerals, and supplements as adjuncts to traditional treatment when indicated.

Psychotherapy

I provide supportive psychotherapy and brief cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) to help patients explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

The best medication regimen in the world won’t help if your sleep, nutrition, or exercise habits aren’t serving your mental health. I can help you take tiny steps forward to create sustainable changes in nutrition, exercise, and daily habits to enhance mental health and overall well-being.

Lifestyle Coaching

Psychoeducation

Empowering patients with knowledge about their conditions and treatment options to promote understanding and self-advocacy.

Appointments + Rates

I am currently accepting new patients via telehealth in Florida.

I offer a FREE 10-15-minute consultation phone call to learn more about each other and discuss whether we might be a good fit. If you’d like to book a consultation call with me, click here.

Dr. Bixler does not participate in Medicaid or Medicare and is out of network with private insurance panels.

I can provide an itemized receipt or superbill for your appointments that may allow you to get reimbursement from your insurance company if you have out-of-network benefits.
